Walter M. Jahnke's Obituary
Walter M Jahnke, age 73 of Miami, Florida went to heaven on April 27, 2023. He was born in Copiague, NY on September 24, 1949. Walter graduated from Copiague High School and continued to study business at State University of New York at Farmingdale. He then served his Country as a medic in the United States Army. He was married to Judith Wilson in his favorite vacation spot of White House, Jamaica. Walter worked as a Network Manager for AT&T for 35 years and retired in 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Wilson, his two daughters, Corinne Jahnke and Christy Jahnke, his son-in-law Jose Rosa, his four grandchildren, Jordan, Dominic, Lailonny, Giovanni, and his great granddaughter Kayani and his beloved Yorkie, Jazz.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.at the Van Orsdel Funeral Home at 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33176.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
