Vincent J. Pravata's Obituary
63, of South Miami, Interior Designer, passed suddenly on October 16, 2009. Born in New York on September 19th, 1946. After serving honorably in the U.S. Navy during the war in Vietnam, resided in San Francisco, Hawaii, New York City, and, since the early-1990s, Miami. Son of Lena and Frank Pravata. Survived by his sister Rosemarie Janovitz and her husband William P. Janovitz, niece Kristine Piela, nephews, William A. Janovitz, Paul Janovitz, Scott Janovitz, and Thomas Janovitz, and five grandnieces and nephews. Also survived by his longtime friends Vincent Tom, John Houck, Lucy Cefalu, Deborah Udin, Neal Hedin, Kirby Settle. After a cremation, there will be a memorial in the near future. As per Mr. Pravata's wishes, his ashes will be spread off the waters of Lanikai, Hawaii. He will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by family and friends.
