It has not been an easy couple of weeks, Vince. Partially, because we miss sharing the absurdity of this all with you. You saw the humor even in tragedy. We all bemoan this tragic waste and will mourn your loss for a long time. But your easy laugh and smile will be what we always remember. I am honored to be your nephew, godson, and friend. Your light will continue to shine for us. Rest in peace.

I hardly knew ye, but yet I knew ye.
I cry, alot. Having read all the news reports, how senseless it all seems. I hate things that make no sense. Guess life is full of surprises and searching for sense is for naught. Rest in peace my darling and hope that your life lived was gratifying to you. I'm sure it was. How nice is that......to think it was so grand to have been here, to have shared, to have enjoyed, to have accomplished all that you did. I know you did. How little time we have on this earth, huh?
