My fondest memories of my grandpa silvano are those from when i was a little girl. I loved going to visit New York, being taken to “rides”, whenever we were blessed with his cooking or taken out to a Chinese restrict for dinner and of course, playing in his garden (usually getting into trouble by touching tomato plants for which i had been strictly prohibited). I also will always hold near to my heart the quiet moments we shared on the lake in his backyard Miami home...where he taught me to fish and play checkers. My only wish is that we got to do more of that ... Rest In Peace grandpa silvano. You lived a long life and helped to raise a dedicated, loving family that i hope made you proud.
