A Memory.
I first met Roy and Bea at Bird Bowl a few years back when I was arbitrarily put on their bowling team, the Wrens. As captain of the team he and Bea welcomed this fledgling Wren who hadn't bowled in over 30 some years and with a very low average. Roy, with his patience, kindness and coaching skills taught me much and I improved. I was saddened when it became obvious that he would not be returning for the rest of the winter season but hopefully for the summer. This was not to be.
Say Hi to Bea for me, my captain, friend and coach. You were missed during your absence and will continue to be missed.
Heartfelt condolences to the family and his son Larry whom I met only briefly when he joined the team.
Blessing and peace,
Joan Parker
