After a long and cruel battle with Alzheimer’s, my father passed away. Watching him slowly wither away was devastating, and though I knew this day would come, I was not prepared for the depth of this pain. We are grateful, however, that his suffering is over. My brothers and I were able to hold him as he took his last breath, a moment we will never forget."
