Brooks lived across the street from us in Key Haven. My husband and Brooks were good friends and every evening would throw a frizbee to our Lab, Daisy and they would chat. My husband died suddenly on Mar. 6, 1999. Brooks was the first person I told after my children who were all out of state. Through his kindness and attention I managed to get through that day.
