It was a privilage to know this unforgetable character.I will never forget that Pete was my first "Room Grandfather" when Matt was in my Kindergarten class.He was always up for anything our class wanted, whether it was tromping along on a fieldtrip,playing Santa, or sharing his pigeons.We were all amazed when the little notes written by the six year olds and attached to Pete's pigeons actually flew home and the notes returned the next day.The children adored this sweet and dear man.He will be missed for sure but with many loving memories.Much Love,
