Have lost a dear friend....met Norm while belonging to Miami Rotary....spent
important time with him interviewing medical applicants for Mc Clellan
scholarships..we bonded talking of baseball...he told of pulling Ted Williams over when a Miami cop and taking him back to Opa Locka spring training. Norm
received a call from the sprinter the next day, thanking him for not arresting..
Ted, wanting to thank Norm for his action -invited Norm down to the Keyes to fish and chase women Ted could not handle. One memorable moment was my arranging a meeting with Norm and Lan (both involved in nuclear subs.)
I brought him to Eastride RetirementVillage to talk of his working with 40 search dogs on the 9-11 site....oh, how I wish I had recorded that !!!
Because he was such a special friend, I will miss hi dearly..Gary Sisler
