Neisa Land's Obituary
Neisa Land of Miami, Florida, passed away on February 2nd, 2024, at the age of forty. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela on November 7th, 1983, as Neisa Bortone. She graduated high school in 2002 from Miami Coral Park Senior High School. She served honorably in the United States Army from 2005 until 2009. She deployed to Iraq from 2006 to 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where she was awarded the Combat Action Badge among other awards. On May 13th, 2009, she married Michael Land in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University in 2014 with a double major in psychology and sociology. Neisa loved nature, listening to music, traveling, photography, and her dog Winston. She is survived by her husband Michael Land, her two children Luccas and Brooklyn, her parents Salvatore and Neida Bortone, and her four siblings Salvador, Angelica, Danei, and John.
