I met Timo, as he was lovingly called by his family when I was 12 years old. His brother Francis was married to my sister Noelle. Even though he was twice my age, I had quite a crush on him. I guess it was his magnetic smile and happy personality that attracted me( smile). l remember at his 25th birthday celebration he was with his pretty girlfriend and I was quite jealous ( smile). As I grew up in the family. I admired him as a Christian man who loved his God, his family and his life. I have many fond memories of Mr. Mortimer. He was always such a kind person. He exemplified Christ daily. One of the memories that stands out most is I remember when I’d go by and visit JoJo he was always on the couch with his rosary praying. Being a child at that time I thought it was odd but now that I’m an adult I understand. Heaven has gained an Angel. He will truly be missed.

When I first started working with Mortimer he taught me construction and detailing. He was a very sharing and knowledgeable person. We would always go to lunch together and it was always at Wendy's. He would always order the same thing and tell them to hold the salt. He would always wait for his fries, but they were always fresh. Fun memories, he will be missed.
