Matthew Schumacher's Obituary
Matthew Schumacher of Magnolia, Texas, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. His life began on September 1, 1961 in Hialeah, Florida. He was welcomed by Elmer and LaVerne Schumacher and siblings, Lael, Diane, and Janis.
Matt completed his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida. His college roommate, David Maguire, accepted a job at Compaq Computer in Houston, Texas and convinced Matt to join him. Matt liked classic cars and baseball, but found the most enjoyment working with his hands fixing cars and completing projects around his home. He loved his time spent at home with his family and really enjoyed taking them on vacations. He was always looking for a new adventure.
Matt married the love of his life, Kerrie Conaway, on July 24, 2011. He instantly claimed Brenna as his daughter and Matt focused on providing Kerrie and Brenna with a wonderful life. It seemed that God had waited for the perfect moment to bring them together. Matt cherished his whole family and would do anything for them.
Matt believed in God and had a very strong faith. He calmly focused on the positive and credited God with his great fortunes in life. On February 3, 2023, Matt left this earthly life, but his family and friends are left with beautiful memories.
