We feel very lucky to have had Lynn as a niece. She was special. We loved her and truly will miss her, her giggle, her smiley face, her ability to laugh at herself, her kindness, her strength, her will to live, and her chatty ways. She never met a stranger often engaging in a conversation with that person. She was well known at the Palace and the Yacht Club among many other places for her friendliness. One example of her laughing at herself was when she was riding her bike across the Florida State campus she rode under a tree and her wig got caught on a tree branch. She said several students saw it and didn't know what to do until Lynn laughed. We laughed together many times over that incident as she retold the story.
We must thank Bill and Leslie Pearson, her brother and sister-in-law, for their constant care and kindness to Lynn. Also we must thank her 2 caregivers, Margarita and Reyna. They went way beyond just caring for her. They loved her as did her family.
Lynn's children were very important to her. We were always amazed and pleased how Paige starting at a very young age helped her Mother overcome her daily challenges, good job Paige! You have become a very responsible young lady and your Mother and Grandmother would be very proud. Zach, your Mom talked about how handsome and nice you are. We hope Lynn's strength and pleasant ways will be passed on to her children.
Lynn will forever be in our thoughts and hearts.
