Kenneth Charles Henry's Obituary
Retired Justice, Kenneth Charles Henry passed away in Miami at the age of 98 on Friday, September 13th, 2024.
Justice Kenneth Henry retired from the Jamaica Judiciary in 1979 and migrated to the United States of America with his family. In 1981, he worked for the Court of Appeal of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, traveling to several of the smaller islands. In 1987, he was appointed as President of the Court of Appeal of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and retired in 1992.
He was predeceased by his wife, Hilda Mae (2007), and his first daughter, Janice Marie Husmann (1999).
He leaves behind his sister, Anna Elaine St. Leger Henry-Walker; first child and son, Dr. Kenneth Robert, St. Leger Henry and his wife, Marcella Bariffe-Henry (Miami); youngest daughter Judith Anne St. Leger Henry-Young and her husband, Lawrence Young Jr, Granddaughters Anja Young & Kelsey Young;(Houston); Grandson Timothy Husmann & great grandson Logan Husmann; Grandson Joshua Husmann and his wife Alia Husmann and great-grandson Elijah Husmann; and Grandson Daniel Husmann and his wife Sierra Husmann.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service is being planned in Miami in celebration of his life at a later date.
