It has taken us quite a long time to be able to put in words the passing

Jeff volunteered in my 4th grade math class at Coconut Grove Elementary where his son, Christian, was my student. He devoted his time freely and helped many students succeed. Jeff was a friend I met through hockey at Kendall Ice Arena several years ago. We renewed our friendship when Chris returned to play ice hockey this year. I will remember Jeff as a sincerely good man with a good sense of humor who loved sports and his children. Although we weren't close, I always enjoyed the brief moments we spent together. I admired his relationship with Chris. I don't remember Jeff coming over with skates without Chris. His pride in Chris was apparent whenever he spoke of him.
