Javier J. Coto's Obituary
Javier J. Coto, 41, Miami, Florida went to heaven on August, 5th, 2022.
He was born in Miami, Florida on March 27th, 1981.
Javier had a quench for education and knowledge that was boundless.
He graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT). As well as a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He was at the precipice of earning his PhD in Information Systems (DISS) with a concentration in Cybersecurity from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). His dissertation focused on Human Computer Interaction and Cybersecurity, specifically analyzing human brain waves on EEG machine to understand and improve human error in cyberattacks.
Professionally, he achieved so much. He accomplished the privilege to be a tenured professor at Miami Dade College (MDC). Focusing on educating in IT and Business Administration courses due to his years of hands-on experience in medical, finance and aviation fields.
Although, Javier enjoyed sharing his knowledge to his students, he could make a difference as an entrepreneur. As someone who grew up with a family that was focused on computers, real estate and mortgage, he thought there was a better way to combine all three for the benefit of the customer. He tirelessly became licensed as a Real Estate Broker and a Mortgage Broker and began to use his IT knowledge to make the entire process smoother and more cost effective. He founded Pink Elephant Realty and Pink Elephant Mortgage while creating software to reduce the overhead that inflated the cost to the customer. His dreams and plans for the future of Pink Elephant will be honored and continued by his beloved wife.
Education and accomplishments were important to Javier, however his most prized accomplishment was his family and children, Bodhi and Gia Bella. His priority was to spend time with his wife, kids, family and friends, which he loved and treasured dearly.
In his honor, a Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 1:30pm on August 12th, 2022 at Saint Louis Catholic Church located at 7270 SW 120th Street, Pinecrest, Florida 33156.
He is so very loved. Come help us celebrate his life!
