JAKE CHARLES MUSCANERA's Obituary
MUSCANERA, JAKE of Redland, FL passed away on August 18th with his beloved wife Rita at his side. Born in Norristown, PA, served in the USAF in the AF Band from 1952 to 1956, and built a career as band director and music instructor at Miami Jackson Senior High School, Miami Coral Park High School, Miami Beach High School, Citrus Grove Jr High School and Village Green Elementary School. Jake was a talented clarinetist and saxophone player who played professionally starting at age 16, in PA & FL. Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sue Muscanera and is survived by his wife Rita, sons Joe (Terri) and Michael (Sue) and stepdaughters Linda (Joe), Lori (Geoff) and Lisa, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation is on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 4-6pm. with a service at 4:30 pm VAN ORSDEL 11220 N. Kendall Dr. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society
