FRANK BAQUE III's Obituary
Frank "Smokey" Baque, III passed away December 25, 2014. Frank was born January 10, 1944 in Miami, FL. He graduated from Miami Palmetto Sr High School. He then attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL for two years and returned to Miami where he graduated from the University of Miami. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as a decorated Officer after serving in Vietnam. Frank became a pilot for Eastern Airlines in 1972 and remained with the company until they ceased operations. He was a pilot for Rich International Airways and then was with the FAA as an Aircraft Safety Investigator. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank Baque, Jr. and mother, Sarah Koch Baque. He is survived by three sisters: Helen Yost, Napa,CA; Debra "Janie" Davis (Ed) Powder Springs, GA; Carol Malec (Robert) Miami, FL, four nephews and one niece. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Legion Post 0400.
