I didn't have the luck to meet Emile for to long. I only knew him for 3 months during the Goldman Sachs Cohort 7 at the beginning of 2016.
I have to say that during the first days interacting with him and other 30 students, he seem kind of odd. His dress wear was very different, and his interventions were very blunt at times. Those 3 months that the whole GS program lasted, and the few times we have gather together socially, gave me the chance to get to know Emile more....and enjoy and appreciate his uniqueness and kindness. Our conversations were always so interesting. He was always energetic about all he did.
After reading about the various efforts he have been after, I can see that he had a relentless passion to make his community better and give his unique touch to the world.
I celebrate his life and thank God for giving me the chance to know Emile, our Cousin.
May God give his lovely wife Zena, his children and all his family, the strength to overcome these very difficult times.
Peace to your soul Emile
