I met Otho at a Veterans of Foreign Wars function honoring WWII Veterans. After it closed, Otho and I joined The American Legion Post 31 South Miami. He as a Sons of American Legion and I, as a USCG veteran. Otho loved to enjoy mother nature at his family shack somewhere deep in the 'Glades. On monthly Seafood nights, Otho purchased a sack or two of fresh oysters and we'd sit on the Post patio shucking the 'sters as an appetizer. Otho was a pretty cool guy who favored O'Douls no alcohol beverage and a proactive supporter of those currently in the military and Veterans. Thank you, Otho, you will be missed.
