Eduardo Leopoldo Garcia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the age of 91.
Born in Holguín, Cuba, Eduardo dedicated his life to the service of others. A retired physician, he practiced medicine with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to his patients, leaving a lasting impact on all those he cared for throughout his distinguished career.
Beyond his profession, Eduardo was an avid stamp and coin collector. This lifelong passion reflected his curiosity, patience, and appreciation for history, and he found great joy in sharing his collections and stories with family and friends.
Eduardo is survived by his loving wife, Clorinda Garcia; his son, Eduardo Garcia, also a physician; and his two grandchildren, Camelia Garcia and Armin Garcia, who proudly followed in his footsteps and also became physicians. His legacy of dedication, learning, and service lives on through his family.
A funeral viewing will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Van Orsdel Funeral & Cremation Services, 4600 SW 8th Street, Coral Gables, Florida.
The burial service will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Graceland Memorial Park North, located at 4580 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Eduardo Leopoldo Garcia, amado esposo, padre y abuelo, falleció en paz el 7 de febrero de 2026, a la edad de 91 años.
Nacido en Holguín, Cuba, Eduardo dedicó su vida al servicio de los demás. Médico retirado, ejerció la medicina con compasión, integridad y un compromiso inquebrantable con sus pacientes, dejando una huella duradera en todos aquellos a quienes atendió a lo largo de su distinguida carrera.
Más allá de su profesión, Eduardo fue un ávido coleccionista de sellos postales y monedas. Esta pasión de toda la vida reflejaba su curiosidad, paciencia y aprecio por la historia, y encontraba gran alegría en compartir sus colecciones e historias con familiares y amigos.
Eduardo le sobrevive su amada esposa, Clorinda Garcia; su hijo, Eduardo Garcia, también médico; y sus dos nietos, Camelia Garcia y Armin Garcia, quienes con orgullo siguieron sus pasos y también se convirtieron en médicos. Su legado de dedicación, aprendizaje y servicio perdura a través de su familia.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 12 de febrero de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 10:00 p. m., en Van Orsdel Funeral & Cremation Services, ubicado en 4600 SW 8th Street, Coral Gables, Florida.
El servicio de sepultura se realizará el viernes 13 de febrero de 2026, a las 2:00 p. m., en el cementerio Graceland Memorial Park North, ubicado en 4580 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida.
