Eduardo Leopoldo Garcia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, at the age of 91.
Born in Holguín, Cuba, Eduardo dedicated his life to the service of others. A retired physician, he practiced medicine with compassion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to his patients, leaving a lasting impact on all those he cared for throughout his distinguished career.
Beyond his profession, Eduardo was an avid stamp and coin collector. This lifelong passion reflected his curiosity, patience, and appreciation for history, and he found great joy in sharing his collections and stories with family and friends.
Eduardo is survived by his loving wife, Clorinda Garcia; his son, Eduardo Garcia, also a physician; and his two grandchildren, Camelia Garcia and Armin Garcia, who proudly followed in his footsteps and also became physicians. His legacy of dedication, learning, and service lives on through his family.
A funeral viewing will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Van Orsdel Funeral & Cremation Services, 4600 SW 8th Street, Coral Gables, Florida.
The burial service will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Graceland Memorial Park North, located at 4580 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida.
