Uncle Charlie your humor and insight will be greatly missed. I can live happily and sleep well knowing that you are in a good place and are watching down on all of us. We have a big game this weekend against North Carolina in Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. I am sure you will be watching. I love you and know that we will see each other again.

Charles was always one for a great joke or a quiet comment that made one laugh. He was a great cousin when growing up in NY, but our love of of Roxbuy was our common thread. I remember playing pool in the basement of Richmond Hill and our family reunions. A brew in one hand and a horseshoe in the other was the common picture with my father.
Lily, Charles was lucky to have you and he will always live on in our hearts as a fun-loving guy and special cousin.

Although only for too brief a time, Charlie was a Cavalier, a team-mate of our softball club, and a friend.
He was a "nice guy" in every respect, and a really good ball player.

I will never forget the first time I met Charlie. I was new to the family I had only been married to my husband a few yrs and hadn't found my space in the family. I remember picking out Charlie and Lilly because she was Hispanic and I knew I would feel comfortable because I was Italian I knew we had similar backgrounds..I was right Charlie introduced him self to me and then said to my husband Jerry I see you like tanned version too...I like him right away and from then on when ever there was a family get together and Charlie was there I would look for him and Lilly..I found my Space...I will always remember him and how his kindness and smile made me feel so comfortable my husband Jerry said he was a lot like his father Uncle Hugh. “Uncle” Charlie was full of enthusiasm and energy for life. His love, kindness and smiles will never be forgotten. He will be remembered always and missed by us all.
It is my hope that our sorrow will be eased by the pride and joy we feel having being fortunate to have known Charlie in his lifetime. We share the comfort in knowing Charlie is no longer suffering.
