CAROLYN ALLEN STAMEY's Obituary
Carolyn Allen Stamey, 91, passed away at her home in Miami, Florida on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She came to Miami in 1946 from Cherryville, North Carolina.
A Native of Gaston County, North Carolina, she was born January 4, 1923. Daughter of Jesse T Allen & Margaret Eliza Elliott, former member of Cheryville Baptist Church.
Carolyn was a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina; member and teacher at Northwest Baptist Church for many years and was the past President of Biscayne Bay Kiwanette Club.
She is predeceased by her husband B.A. Stamey; Sister Sadie Allran; and Sister Janie Carpenter and step-sister Betty Beam. She is survived by her sons Reverend B. Alex Stamey and Reverend Don A. Stamey; Sister Miriam Hall, 4 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren; and 2 half sisters: Anita Heffner & Jessie Carroll.
Memorial Services to be held at Northwest Baptist Church, Miami, Florida on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
