Betty Sutton, 78, July 26 2015. Resident of Miami, Florida, 78 years. Attended Coral Gables High School (Class of 1955) and attended Emory University. After attending school, Betty was employed by Delta until her first child Jenny arrived, at which time Betty became a devoted mother. Betty was a loyal fan of University of Miami athletics and a long-time active member of the University of Miami Hurricane Club. Betty was an advocate for the protection and rescue of Golden Retrievers. Betty volunteered her time providing pet therapy to patients and families at Perdue Medical Center. Betty also made dear friends through Jazzercise. Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ab; daughter Jenny; son Robert (Jennifer); granddaughters Jordan Elisabeth and Ava Joan; Siblings Bill and Bob. Betty, Bill and Bob are the children of Otis B. Sutton J.D. and Judge Ruth Sutton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Receiving of friends at 1 pm with refreshments served until memorial service time 3 pm Monday, August 3, 2015 at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL.
