Woodrow W. Westberry's Obituary
WESTBERRY
Woodrow Wilson Westberry, 98, on Tuesday 01-11-2011, was granted a peaceful passing. As always by his side, his loving wife of 70 years, Adeline. Though born in Barney, Ga. in 1912; Miami would become his home by 1929. He worked for Florida Power & light in the late 30's, met & married his wife, Adeline in 1940. Military service in the U. S. Navy from 1942 - 1946. Soon he would own the company he worked for Vaughn Parades Inc.  Building and supplying the majority of floats for the Orange Bowl Parade, every new years eve until his retirement at age 77. This would become his life's work and passion.   Several benevolent organizations counted him as an active member; Shrine, Lion's, Mason and others.  Woodrow, preceded in heaven by his first son Robert, will forever be remembered with love by Adeline, daughter-in-law Nancy and her children with Robert; Karyn, Jennifer and Lee. Son Dave, wife Sheila and their family Erin, Dave Jr. and Evan. Also 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation 11 am until Service time 1 pm Saturday Jan. 15th at
