WILLIAM CHARLTON JR.'s Obituary
CHARLTON, William Jr, 83, of Miami, Florida went to be with our forever loving Lord on October 17, 2015. Son of William Sr and Elva B, and born in Philadelphia, PA, William was a graduate of Coral Gables HS and earned his BBA at the University of Miami. His extensive career in real estate and construction began as an office manager of Alhambra Circle Realty, and later formed Charlton Construction where he built residential homes throughout Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay for 35 years. He was a member of University Baptist Church and served as a long time deacon and Chairman of the Property care committee. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sara Jane, his brother Kerry, and his sister Joy (Bud) Hunter. He was a dedicated father to his four sons William III, Keith (Barbara), Kevin, and David (Laura). He has 4 granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Wayside Baptist Church on Saturday October 24 at 11 AM in the Chapel, followed with lunch in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center‐ Pediatrics.
