WILLIAM "BILL" BASS's Obituary
William "Bill" Bass, 82' died peacefully in his home on Thursday, October 19th. He was born in Dunn, NC. He was a retired electrical contractor in Miami-Dade County as well as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Arlene, as well as his 2 children, Kathy Bass-Courtright and Wayne Bass along with their spouses Wayne and Billie Jo. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren: Kyle Courtright, Amber Chambers (and spouses) and Lucas Bass as well as his 5 step-grandchildren: Erica, Kayla, Mark, Madison and Jake. He also has 3 siblings still in NC: Ken Bass, Patricia Wood and Mary Carter along with their spouses.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 22nd from 6-8pm and service on Monday, Oct.. 23rd at 11 am at Van Orsdel Funeral Home - 11220 N. Kendall Drive with graveside service immediately following at Miami Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Sonlight - 5175 Siesta Del Rio Dr. E. - Jacksonville, FL 32258 - ATTN: David Ash, Treasurer
