Walter Sumner Graham Sr.'s Obituary
Walter Sumner Graham Sr, age 79 went to heaven on February 27, 2024, where he was reunited with his parents, Harold Graham and Billie (Dorton) Graham.
He was born in Vero Beach, FL. On September 3, 1944. He graduated from Miami Senior High School in 1962. He earned many certifications during his professional life. Walter worked as a Funeral Director for Philbrick Funeral Home. Later he became an Independent Insurance Agent for Keyes City Insurance. Eventually, he owned Terry Graham Insurance Agency and was very successful.
He was a 50-year member of Biscayne Bay Masonic Lodge #124. He was awarded Mason of the Year in Florida in 2004. Walter was a member of the Miami Scottish Rite and Mahi Shrine. He held many elected and appointed positions in these organizations. Walter’s love of music and singing leaves a tender memory.
Walter is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Graham, of 23 years; Son Walter S. Graham Jr (spouse Jennifer) and grandson Mark; Son Paul Graham (Spouse Marlene) and grandchildren, Tyler, Yurmali Andrew and Michael; his brother William Graham (spouse Karla). He also leaves many friends and family.
Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by Van Orsdel Funeral Services. A celebration of Walter’s life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4 PM to 10 PM. There will be a Masonic Funeral Service at 8 PM.
