WALLACE GEORGE KREIDT's Obituary
Captain Wallace “Wally” George Kreidt, 92
Life long resident of Miami, passed into the loving arms of our Savior, Feb 7th. Born in Miami in 1925. Graduate of Miami High. Married to LaVerne Joan Wolcott for 60 years. WWII B-17 Bomber Co-Pilot. Self employed Merchant Captain providing goods and services via his freight boat to the island of Bimini in the Bahamas for nearly 40 years, often at great peril. Was staunch Lutheran continuing his founding parents formation and building legacy of St. Mathews Lutheran Church in Miami. Was a Supporter of the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum and other Veterans organizations. Was an accomplished coronet player and played with his high school marching band and continued to play until recently.
He is survived by his wife LaVerne; sons Calvin and Walter Kreidt; daughter Laurie Feeney; grandchildren Lauren and Liam Feeney; daughter in law Donna, married to Calvin; son in law; David Feeney, married to Laurie, Diana Cooper, friend and confidant to Walter.
Funeral to be held on:
Saturday, February 18th at 11 a.m.
