VIVIEN THERESA SABBAG's Obituary
Vivien Theresa Sabbag (Barimo) born in Patterson New Jersey on October 10, 1940 died on October 15, 2022 with her children by her side in Davie Florida. She is eternally reunited with the love of her life, Antoon A. Sabbag (L-M-N-W). Vivien is survived by her daughter Renee (Steven) Pera; son Anthony (Michelle) Sabbag; and grandchildren Stephen Sabbag, Ryan Sabbag, and Steven Pera.
Vivien was devoted to her children’s education, was a teacher’s aide, served the PTA, and taught beginner swimming lessons. She was a founding and faithful member of St. Jude Melkite Catholic Church and faithfully served on the Lady’s Guild for over three decades.
Affectionately called “Sitto” by her grandchildren, Vivien enjoyed caring and cooking for her grandchildren. She adored her family and her Syrian culture. Known for her youthful personality, she especially enjoyed spending time with her loving sister, Doris Majhess.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Funeral Chapel, located at 4600 SW 8th Street in Coral Gables, FL from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a prayer service at 1:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 27, 2022 at St. Nicholas Melkite Greek Catholic Church located at 5715 Lake Ida Road in Delray Beach, FL at 11:30 AM with committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery located at 3260 SW 8th Street in Miami FL.
