Viola Dietz Hamilton's Obituary
HAMILTON DIETZ Viola, 86, of Pembroke Pines, went to be with Jesus our Lord on November 12, 2011.She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 14, 1925.Always putting others first, her family was the center of her life. Also, for over 29 years, “Nana” provided a positive influence to the families of more than 80 children whom she provided childcare in her home. She loved to turn her yard into a masterpiece and had a meticulous eye for style. She also enjoyed dancing to jazz and big band music. Viola lent encouragement to all and brought joy to everyone in her presence. Viola always had a positive affect on anyone who came into her presence. She endured difficulties gracefully and her personality even transformed her doctors into her family.She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Pembroke Pines and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Harry Dietz (1919-1982.She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Robert Hamilton, four children: Mike, Steve, Kim, & Terry. She was “Nana” to eight grandchildren, Lexie, Amber, Ashley, Heather, Gregory, Zachary, Matthew, & Courtney.Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Van Orsdel Funeral Home located at 4600 S.W. 8 Street in Coral Gables. A chapel service will take place at Van Orsdel the following day at 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Flagler Memorial Park located at 5301 West Flagler Street.
