VINCENT J DESIMONE's Obituary
Vincent J. DeSimone of Coconut Grove and formerly of New York, passed away November 16, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Vincent DeSimone was founder and now Chief Executive of DeSimone Consulting, a structural engineering firm with offices in Brickell, as well as headquarters in New York City and other locations around the country and the world. His problem solving tenacity as well as his creative solutions, earned him a place of respect in his industry.
Vincent DeSimone is survived by his fiancé, Stefany Koo and her loving family, as well as his children, Claudia DeSimone Lucey (Michael) and Lisa DeSimone Haywood (Robert) of Rumson, NJ; Stephen V. DeSimone (Katherine) of W, Bay Shore, Edward DeSimone (Gianine) and Christopher DeSimone (Elizabeth ) of Brightwaters, NY, and Michael DeSimone, Miami, FL.
He is lovingly survived by his fifteen grandchildren; Nina Lucey, Matthew Lucey, Harry Haywood, Stephen DeSimone, Jr., Hope Haywood, Jack Haywood, James Lucey, Thomas DeSimone, Julianna DeSimone, Joy Lucey, Christian DeSimone, Katherine DeSimone, Mia DeSimone, Vincent DeSimone II, and Veronica Grace.
Memorial Service will be held at the Ritz Carlton-Coconut Grove on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agatha’s RC Church at 11:30 am with burial to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Miami, FL.
