VILSON COLIN's Obituary
VILSON COLIN
Vilson Colin was born in Leogane, Haiti on October 21st, 1952. He was the son of Lahens Colin and Charite Saint-Juste. They were both deceased when he was a young man. Despite many challenges, he rose to the occasion and quickly became the head corner stone of the family.
On September 9,1980, he migrated to United States with great hopes, dreams and aspirations. Joining other family members, he began working hard to fulfill those dreams. He took advantage of every opportunity to better his life, his families' and those he loved. He was a hard worker and a dedicated father. He devoted his entire life to raise his two children and support the rest of his family.
Vilson had a great sense of humor. He loved reading the Bible, talking politics, listening to music and maintaining with current events. Every job he undertook, he executed it with the greatest efforts and joyful pride. He traveled many parts of this country to work and barely took a day off. He would travel to the end of the Earth to find work to support his family. The most important thing in his life was his family and he was committed to support them and provide for them. He made sure to stay connected and be available for a helping hand when the needs arose and many times preemptively. He was a very generous person.
He impacted many people and made a difference in their lives. With his help, many accomplished their goals and reached many significant milestones. As a dedicated father, grandfather, uncle, godfather, brother and Good Friend, you could always count on him. If you needed someone to talk to, he was there with compassion and patience. If you needed sound advice, he was there with wisdom, born of years of experience. He made himself available to all. If you needed someone to sit quietly with you, he was there for you. I could never figure out why he always had a way of knowing what we all needed but he did. We will always remember those animated conversations with his friends and family. He always had an opinion! He will be remembered by so many of us when we think of that one-day, that special day, when he touched our lives and made the difference.
Vilson was an amazing person, a man of an exceptional character. He was loved by all and made friends wherever his journey took him. He will always be remembered as a coach, counselor, mediator, good-hearted person and most importantly, a caring father. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
On July 5th, 2013, at age sixty, Vilson departed his earthy life and was called home by His heavenly Father.
