VICTORIA CERVANTES's Obituary
Victoria Rosa Cervantes, age 84 of Miami, Fla., passed away at in-home hospice care, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016.
Victoria was born Feb. 27, 1932, in Lima, Peru, the daughter of the late Juan Aguilar and Rosa Ñique, but had become an American citizen and lived in the U.S. for more than 40 years.
Professionally, Victoria had worked at Kinjo Travel in Lima, Peru; was a Florida certified cosmetologist; and worked as a sales clerk/bookkeeper for a clothing boutique before retiring.
She loved gardening, crocheting, sewing and word puzzles. Victoria will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother sacrificing her needs for the good of her family. She always had a calm demeanor, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength and serenity, undoubtedly from her devout Catholic faith.
A former survivor of childhood paralysis and breast cancer, she was always graceful until God called her home.
Victoria is survived by her husband, Victor Cervantes and daughters Rosa Cervantes and Victoria Cervantes.
