Victor Raul Ortegon's Obituary
ORTEGÓN-Victor Raul. On November 16, 2012, after a heroic battle against gastric cancer. Cherished husband of Amanda, devoted and loving father of Gabriel, Carolina and Lucas. Adored son of Celio Alfonso Ortegon and Beatriz Corredor. Treasured brother of Amparo Ortegon de Salazar, Arturo and Alejandro. Celebrated son and brother in-law of the extended Minnesotan family of his loving wife of 25 years, Amanda McGovern. Unconditional and eternal friend to everyone who had the honor of sharing his life. Raul was an inspiration to his wife and children and touched us all. His kind and gentle heart, uncompromising faith, compassion for others, and brilliant mind will carry on through his immediate and large, extended American and Colombian family. Memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, November 24, at 12:00 p.m., Miami Shores Community Church, 9823 Northeast Fourth Avenue, Miami Shores, FL 33138. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully acknowledged at the charity of your choice.
