Victor Melbourne Cha-Kim's Obituary
Victor Melbourne Cha-Kim, 89, resident of Miami, died on June 25th, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 28th, 1930 and migrated to Miami in 1978 to begin a new life with his family. A devout Catholic, Victor was an integral and pivotal part of the Saint Catherine's of Siena and Our Lady of Lourdes churches in Kendall. In his first twenty-five years in Miami, Victor was involved in multiple businesses and retired just over twenty years ago. He was an avid bridge player, enjoyed to swim, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Cha-Kim is survived by wife Barbara Cha-Kim (née Tenn-yuk), children Donna (m. Francis R.), Judith (m. Francis E), Andrew (m. Cecile), Andrea (widow to Eric), and Jason (m. Michelle), grandchildren including Terri-Gaye, Lara, Jon, Brianna, Hannah, David, and Daniel, and sister Judith Moore. He is predeceased by son Stephen, and grandchildren Jonathon and Karina.
He will be dearly missed and thought of by his loving family and friends forever.
