Vesta Lafortune was born in Jacmel, Haiti, on April 11, 1968. She was a self-made businesswoman who was passionate about meeting the needs of her community by buying and reselling clothing, perfumes, and other goods. She was a great cook who enjoyed making delicious food. She was a devoted Mother to her five children. Community kids also loved her and adopted her as their mom. She was a woman of strength, love, and compassion with a gentle attitude and beautiful personality. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Vesta is survived by her five children, including Nanusca Lafortune Jean Louis, Patrice Nickson Lafortune, Mackenson Lafortune, Louis Gerald Junior Mondesir, Samantha Nagathna Lafortune, her five grandchildren, Lyndsay Jean Louis, Victoria Jean Louis, Summer Anastacia Lafortune, Brithney Lafortune, Liam Dorcely, and her sons-in-law Marc Arthur Jean Louis and Lener Dorcely.
