Veronica “Peaches” our friend one of the “Golden Girls “. Peaches was the life of the party amongst the 6 of us. Dea, Alice , Peaches, Dorris and me. I looked up to them as “I was the baby of the group “. Peaches could get us all fired up and cut to the truth. I will never forget just before I got married Dea was trying to explain the “Birds and Bees”. Peaches chimed in and said, “ don't tell her that fairy tale, let me tell u the truth girl which she went on to break it down. That’s our Peaches , never PC correct when it comes to telling us the truth. As we grew in our relationship the bond between all of us strengthened even with me living in California. She often asked “woman when are you moving back? Make sure u take care of that Man” . She is truly the “True Deal “. Rest in peace my friend .
