TRUSCILLA WAYNE REYNOLDS's Obituary
REYNOLDS, Truscilla 'Wayne' Drane, 96, of Miami, FL passed on to eternity with her Lord on the evening of Monday February 8, 2016 at her home in Miami, FL. She was with family and friends at the time of her passing. Wayne, the oldest of three girls, was born in Key West, FL on December 27, 1919 to Philip Donnell Drane and Truscilla Drane. The Dranes later moved to Coral Gables, where she and her sisters, Lois and Jean, grew up in a close and loving family. Wayne attended Exmore School in Coral Gables, and after graduation went on to Brenau College in Gainesville, GA where she earned her BA degree. She met her husband Bill at Venetian Pool, where he was a lifeguard and practiced swimming as captain of the University of Miami swim team. After the birth of their two sons, Bill started Coral Gables Transfer and Storage Co. which they owned and operated for 40 years. The most important thing to Wayne was being with her family and friends. Everyone she touched loved her sweet, gentle way. She will always be remembered for her loving kindness and generosity. Wayne is survived by her sons, Steve (Rosemary) of St. Petersburg and Drane of Miami, grandsons Michael and David (Penny), granddaughters Bridget and Jessica, and great granddaughter Adrienne. Nieces Trudy Krisher of Dayton, OH, Lella Dvorak of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Gayle (Randy) Watts of Hopkins, SC, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her aunt Dever in MO, 101 years old. Predeceased in death by her husband of 55 years Bill, sisters Lois Drance Butner and Jean Drane Long. Her deep faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and her love for her family and friends will forever be remembered by all. There will be a celebration of life at Granada Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 2:45 p.m. for family and friends.
