THOMAS H. TARKANISH's Obituary
Thomas Harold Tarkanish(Tom), 58, passed peacefully into Eternal Life on June 3, 2015 at his home in Miami. His is survived by his wife, Pat Tarkanish, her children, Dawn Garcia and Robin Harviel, and their loving families, and by his sister, Linda Ciulla and her husband, John, a maternal aunt, Ruth Williams, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold C. and Eleanore M. (Denzel) Tarkanish and a sister, Ellen Repasy. Following in his father’s footsteps, Tom had a love for aviation from his first job at Curtiss Wright Corporation in 1975 to his present job as a dedicated employee at CIT Aerospace. He loved animals, camping, sport fishing and traveling the world.
Tom was born in New Jersey and attended Saddle Brook Schools and Teterboro School of Aeronautics. He moved to Miami, Florida in 1983.
A memorial services and Celebration of Life will be held at Van Orsdel Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, Florida on Sunday, June 14 from 3:00-5:00 pm. Memorial gifts for Tom may be made to the Cat Network of Miami.
