So sorry Tommy never made it back to his hometown of Asheville NC he truley loved it here and we were always making plans for him to build a cabin at Apple Creek Farm and spend his last years up here.Tom always said he was going to live past 100 and I thought he would at least see his 80th Birthday which is so close.Tom will be remembered by many people who knew him and his many stories he would tell of his childhood on the Biltmore Estate grounds.growing up in Biltmore Forrest, days driving the Bluebird Taxi that his dad owned and the many photos he took and shared with us.I will miss the very long talks on the phone and the plans for coming up.Maybe in death he will finally make it home.RIP my Friend
