THOMAS JOSEPH BRENNAN's Obituary
Brennan, Thomas Joseph, died on October 15,2017 at the age of 59 from complications of Leukemia. He was predeceased by his father James Anthony Jr. and his brother Manuel. Tom, from South Miami, is survived by his wife Kathy (married 32 years) and his two sons, Tommy and Sam. He was a successful Real Estate Investor, owner of Brennan Realty, Inc. and BCC in Coral Gables. He was a graduate of Florida State University in 1981, where he met his beloved wife. He graduated from Coral Gables High in 1977. An avid tennis player, Tom was well known among the Miami area tennis community. He was one of the founders of the annual Cuda Cup tennis tournament which started in Coconut Grove. His annual trip to Connecticut with tennis friends was one in which he always looked forward to each year. Enjoying his home and socializing with neighbors/friends with a glass of red wine in his hand was one of his favorite pastimes. Tom’s daily morning routine of sipping a strong dark cafe con leche is a custom now followed by his sons, while his wife Kathy sips on her cordadito. His passion to travel with his family and friends to state parks was high on his list of priorities, and he was always eager to share his adventures with those around him. Tom blessed many lives through his years of coaching baseball. He had the gift to make people laugh, love, learn and always encouraged his children, nieces and nephews to work hard, have goals and be the best they could be. Tom’s laugh, smile and high spirited personality will sorely be missed by all who knew him well. Rest in peace Tom, you will forever be in our hearts. TYG!
