Teuvo was our cousin from our father’s side, Veikko Högbacka, from Imatra...My grandmother, Emma Högbacka and Teuvo’s grandmother were sisters...
Teuvo and Rita Sparrow Tolvanen, bought our home for their cottage, in Vowels Lake, Ontario in 1998...We had lots of fun times together..
We always got coffee and pulla at their cottage... Teuvo always had a saying to Eeva when she was being good hostess: ”Not to tuputtaa”... Meaning, we all had enough of goodies...
Teuvo and Eeva organized a 60 year Birthday Party for my late husband, Veijo Railosvuo in their garage, 2002... My husband was also a baker, so they had lots common...He was actually considering working for Teuvo in Texas, one time... We just decided to stay in Canada, which was right choice....
Family was really important to Teuvo as his Finnish roots..
He will be missed....🙏🙏
