Amy Wasdin
Uncle John, I was looking you up and saw this. I am shocked. you were always a special man to me. I have missed you every day of my life since you exited due to whatever transpired with my dad.
Uncle John was a grandfather figure to me, the only grandfather I knew. He was kind to me, played games and played school (I was the teacher but he was actually teaching me) and he taught me things even in fun. He was a thoughtful man and so kind to me. I saw a different John, and he was a sweet man to me. He would send me new $1 bills because he knew I loved them, computer games that he knew I would love and even dresses. He always signed them love Uncle John and Grandma Dottie. As a teen he remembered occassions. He taught me things. We communicated via phone, letters and I learned a lot through his intelligent and to the point way of thinking.
I will never forget his letters, visits and emails.
Uncle John, I never stopped loving you. I never stopped thinking about you. I will always be greatful that you were in my life for the time you were there.
I love you. Say hi to Nana in heaven and do not argue with daddy up there.
Love forever,
Your first Amy
