Sonya Williams' Obituary
WILLIAMS, Sonya -- A beautiful soul has left us. Sonya passed away on Thursday, October 16 after a short illness, at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of David and cherished mother of Gary, Owen and Sharon. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Erin, Brianna, Sydney, Emily, Bryan and Kristen, her son-in-law Steve, daughter-in-law Carole and her five great grandchildren. Sonya lived life to the fullest, traveling the world with David – from Canada, to Brazil, Jamaica and then Miami, singing in choirs wherever she could. Sonya’s friendly, welcoming nature, great sense of humor and wonderful story-telling ability, made her dearly loved by all. Friends may come by to share memories of Sonya at a celebration of life to be held on Sunday, November 2nd at 1:00PM, at the Christ Congregational United Church of Christ, 14920 SW 67th Ave., Palmetto Bay, FL.
