Skylar Fox Young's Obituary
We are saddened by the passing of Skylar Fox Young, who died on March 15th, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his father, Russell, his mother NyAnn, his stepmother Jessica, his grandparents, Russell and Helen, and his brothers, Zach and Alex.
Skylar was born on May 14th, 1997 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from G. Holmes Braddock High School in 2015. Upon graduation, he moved to New Jersey and lived with his brothers until he began his military service in the United States Air Force in 2018, where he served in the Security Force, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Following his time in the military, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be close to his mother.
Skylar's true passion was basketball, and no matter what city he was in, he would find an open gym or a pick-up game. He was a loyal and kind friend, with a big heart and infectious smile that brought out the best in people.
He loved his friends and family, including his cousin Robert, and his nieces and nephews. Skylar’s tragic and sudden death weighs heavily on his family and friends. He was deeply loved, and this loss is profound. He will be missed.
