SIMON ALIRIO DURAN's Obituary
Our loving father, Simon A. Durán passed away at the age of seventy-seven in Miami, Florida on July 7, 2015. He was born in Bogotá, Colombia on May 20, 1938. His parents are Adan Durán and LuciLa Forero. Our father, was survived by his loving wife, María Teresa Cruz and their four children, whom he loved dearly; Mauricio and wife Elsa, Camilo, Luisa Fernanda and husband Brian, and María Carolina and husband Charles. Simon leaves behind ten grandchildren, his pride and joy; Daniel, Adrien, Samantha Helen, Jordan, Jacob, Lucas Nathaniel, Savannah María, Matthew Charles, Shelby Victoria, and Emilia Fernanda. He also leaves behind two brothers and six sisters and many loving nephews and nieces. Our father was a man full of life and left a legacy that can be seen in the wonderful stories his family and friends have been sharing. He taught us to be brave when facing adversity. Our father loved to joke and make people laugh; Always keeping a positive spin on life.
