Sikkui Tang's Obituary
Sik Kui & quot; Joe & quot; Tang, the oldest son of Khang Dang and Binh Huang,
spent his early years in Saigon, Vietnam, where he met his high school sweetheart
and future wife, Shamay, when he was 16. Afterattending university in Taiwan and
receiving a degree in chemical engineering, he and Shamay moved tothe US to start
their life together in 1972. While waiting tables at a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia,

in the Florida state auditor general office and the Miami-Dade County public works department,
and helping local Chinese businesses and families, he raised his 2 daughters, Elisa and Stefanie,
with his devoted wife, Shamay, by his side.

(a treasured hobby inherited from his father), photography, and traveling. Each month,
he shared his most prized photographs with friends and family in a personally curated calendar page featuring his original photographs of scenic landscapes, unique birds or flowers from
his travels to favorite South Florida parks (Wakodahatchee Wetlands or Shark Valley) or faraway destinations. Of the 6 continents and over 40 countries he visited with Shamay,
his most favorite trips were those to China.
