Elizabeth Shelley Newton Bivins' Obituary
Shelley passed away peacefully during the loving vigil of her husband of fifty years Arthur C. Bivins III. She is also survived by her brother Charles J. Newton Jr. his children C.J. Newton III and Arrin Newton Brunson and Arthur's sister Billie Faxon Bivins. Shelley was a talented fiber artist and a master of both knitting and crochet. For several years she was the proprietor of the Web a fiber arts center in Coral Gables. She received her B.S. in Accounting at F.I.U in 1974. During her professional career she was Controller for several Real Estate management and development firms in South Florida. In later life despite a serious illness and two debilitating falls she still retained her optimistic view of life and her indominable smile. She will be sorely missed by everyone who held her dear. A celebration of her life will be held at Van Orsdel Kendal on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
